Courting the idea of a yard

We have progress on our courtyard, albeit slow. The landscapers are here one day and not the next and I never know when they'll be back! Ah, but I'm not complaining, as a) they are doing a fantastic job and b) we were lucky to get anyone to do our courtyard, as there is a shortage of quality landscapers in Canberra and they have more work than they can poke a stick at, so to speak! Our courtyard is really starting to shape up and it's just lovely to have the water feature in and working. I can't wait for it to be finished, as we will be spending lots of time out there - even if it is cold! It will be wonderful in summer to be sure.

Your courtyard is looking great! I know how hard it is to have contractors that come and go. We have been having work done on our home and I wonder if it is ever going to end.

Looking very well!! I love water features, but I often wonder if having one would make me head off to the bathroom all the time **VBG** The sound of trickling water, you know!

Can't wait to see it finished! It's looking good so far.

Just saw your comment....the little boy is 13 and he sews the binding on for his mom and he makes about what equals to $1. Which to him is probably a huge amount, and he's helping mom do the most boring part...although I love to hand sew so it's not too bad for me.
