Bob's on top of the world

A big congratulations to Bob who this week made it to the top of Mt Everest! Bob was a member of our successful expedition to Everest in 2001. He didn't make it then (due to a combination of bad weather and bad health on the mountain), but he is a determined bugger and has now set foot on top of the world's largest mountain.

He has some frostbite to his toes, but it doesn't sound too serious. If you want to read about it, go here.

Well done Bob!

(and I haven't forgotten Laura's request to tell the story about how I met my darling husband on that expedition!)

And I am still waiting for that story. You can't imagine the books we have on Everest. I can't wait to hear your story! And congrats to Bob what an accomplishment.
