Wonky geese is finished. Finally!

Ta da!

Only took six months!

Haven't ironed it yet. It washed up well this afternoon. I am very happy with how it turned out. Will deliver it tomorrow after it's dry and ironed. I hope it gets a lot of use.

No quiltmaking for a little bit for me - I am going to be making a couple of 'patchwork' bunnies (like this one), kittens and bears (like this one) from a pattern designed by Hillary Lang from Wee Wonderfuls instead!

Hope you're all having a good weekend.

It is well worth taking six months when it turns out as great as this one. I love the orange outer border. Totally beautiful.

What a pretty quilt! That turned out so well - I love those colours.

Can't wait to see the dolls and animals you make - I have a large collection of felted wool and will be looking at some of those patterns later today. Thanks for sharing those links ..... something else to add to my ever growing list of "favourites".

Terrific Lily - 6 months or 6 years - who cares, it's the end result that matters and this one was definitely worth waiting for - Lovely!

Well done Lily, it has turned out well. What struck me about your post is that I have never applied an iron to a finished quilt ever? Should I be? I must have missed that lesson (all panicky now in case the QP come after me)

Congrats on a finish. It is a beautiful quilt. Don't worry about the time itook - mine take forever and I get frustrated and thenstart making mistakes.

A question. Why do you iron?
